This piece at APAP was a beautiful room built out of stacked plastic stools. Light filtered through the yellow stools casts a warm glow on everything. I would love to have a room like this somewhere in my home. It would make a nice meditative spot.

We’d normally pass this along to our compatriots in The Gutter for their Police Blotter, but who can resist a reader-submitted allegation that Santiago Calatrava plagiarized that master organic lampmaker Frank Lloyd Wright? Above at left, the Wright Taliesin 2 Floor Lamp: “Originally designed for Wright’s Hillside Home School’s converted gymnasium … Wright used these lights in his own home, Taliesin,” available for only $2,850. At right, the Calatrava Tower O’ Penthouses, proposed for 80 South St., but still waiting for Buyer No. 1 when last we checked; units available for about 10,000 times the price of the lamp.
